This song is based off of a dream I had a few months ago. Written in response to that dream, and to the sometimes bleak world we live in, it went from a song of despair to a song of hope and purpose.

Our Mother, as always, reminds me of the power within us to bring change to our World.

Our Mother Gaia
Came to me in a dream
Looking just like my own dear sweet mama
Ocean Eyes and all
I asked her what was she doing here
I said “My life is just fine.”
And then she shook her head, sighing as she said:

“I've seen you tossing and turning,
The world is too much with you in dreams.
The anger and the hatred, you can't understand.
You ask “Why must we be separated?
Made to be so very afraid?
When together we are stronger,
We are One, and can, withstand, any storm that may come along.”

I nodded to myself, and very much knew she was not wrong.

Oh Mother Gaia, I hear the truth in your voice.
I hold the world right here in my arms,
I wish we all could be free,
Of all the hidden lies, agendas and pure greed.
But the world is a raging fire
And the towers are tumbling down

You best be sinkin' your roots in the soil.
She said, “Draw up my power from the Earth,
Make it one with your own.
Stand fast and reach for your loved ones,
Gather your people and rise up as one.
